Neptay is an independent web & digital studio. The brief — written by us, for us — was to build a site that earns trust in the first scroll: serious typography, a single accent, no stock photography, and copy that says what we do without dressing it up.
Everything sits on a hairline grid. The dark palette is near-neutral with one whisper-warm black; the accent is a refined emerald used as punctuation rather than decoration. Animations are restrained: scroll-in reveals on first read, a single atmospheric gradient at the hero, and micro-interactions that confirm a click rather than perform.
The site ships in English and Turkish from the same content layer. Routing, metadata, and structured data are all locale-aware — the Turkish edition isn't a translated afterthought, it's the same site in another voice.
Three principles, held the whole way through.
What the site has to do.
First contentful paint on a mid-range phone over 4G — measured, not guessed.
Bilingual at the routing layer. Metadata, hreflang, sitemaps — every page in both.
Home plus four pillars: services, work, studio, contact. No filler.
Pre-rendered on Vercel, no runtime database. The whole thing is files.
